Suzette Smith grew up in rural Georgia, learning the art of cooking from her family’s garden.  Her parents were ‘modern day pioneers’ of their land with her father being an avid hunter and gardener while  her mother catered for church events, weddings and other special events.

Suzette’s roots of clean, organic and wholesome nutrition continues to today.  She has lived in Australia, raised children and through it all sought after natural remedies and nutrient dense food.  Suzette contributes her inspiration of starting Garden Goddess to her close friend Sheila. Sheila encouraged Suzette to forge the trail in helping others learn how fermented foods and food in general can affect the health of your body.

Suzette is extremely busy in her commercial kitchen where each cooking pot has a name, she requires all staff to set a loving intention while handling the food and cooking, and in the midst of this she has also published a children’s book, “Sasha & Sheila….B, C and Dill” a fermented food series.  

She is a wonderful person with a wonderful passion, her food is infused with love and she gladly shares it to help YOU!

Founders, Loving Meditations


David Dachinger and Tamara Green, LCSW are the cofounders of Loving Meditations and international best selling authors of their book, Live Calm With Cancer (and Beyond…).

David is a featured author, fire lieutenant and Grammy® nominated composer who scored inspiring music for America's most celebrated sporting events and television shows. Over 1.5 billion people have heard his music on CBS broadcasts of the Super Bowl, The Masters, and the NFL. David is a survivor of stage-4 cancer.

Tamara is an author, speaker, and trainer, dubbed by Elle Magazine as “The Soul-centered Psychotherapist and Meditation Facilitator.” and featured as a behavioral health expert on Tamara combines her many years of professional training and life experience, such as caregiving, to create powerfully effective guided meditations that have helped thousands to achieve peace, love, and wellbeing.

Tamara and David have been married since 1994. When David was diagnosed with stage-4 head, neck, and lymphatic cancer in 2013, they deepened their meditation practice in order to get through that difficult time. Today, David is thriving - cancer-free - and their marriage is stronger than ever. The practice of meditation changed their lives.

Loving Meditations came about when David and Tamara discovered that meditation has deep roots in evidenced-based results to dramatically reduce stress, anxiety, pain, and discomfort. Together, this married couple creates mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR) programs to empower cancer patients, thrivers, and caregivers with self-love and self-care on their healing journey, from diagnosis to survivorship.

They created Loving Meditations, a highly effective multimedia program, as a way to pay forward the benefits of meditation to those experiencing pain, stress, overwhelm and fear during the cancer journey - as patients and caregivers.

The mission of Loving Meditations is to help create more ease, harmony, and balance for each individual - which aligns with our mission to improve the quality and quantity of life for those touched by cancer.

About this Episode

During this Education Session, Tamara and David teach how to dramatically reduce stress, anxiety, pain, and discomfort anywhere and anyplace. Their potent self-care tools are practical at home and as well as before, during, and/or after treatments.

We discuss common myths, how to overcome typical challenges when trying to start and maintain a meditation practice, and how to create more awareness and less judgment through mindfulness.

The Session ends with an introduction to their highly effective app and tips to help you integrate these tools and techniques into your daily life.
